To stay alive in the wilderness there are commonly considered to be ten essential things: water, navigation, fire, and shelter among others. We all know, however, that there are really eleven essentials! We consider coffee to be the third priority on the list, just after fire and water. It’s no exaggeration to say that a solid, consistent espresso blend is one of the essentials if you plan to finish your journey well.
Being a blend built for espresso, you’ll discover thick-bodied chocolate and creamy caramel notes with hints of sweet citrus and a lovely tobacco finish. This flavor combo gives just the right depth to milk-based drinks, and makes for an interesting and balanced Americano. Essentials is great when prepared other ways too! Use a French Press to bring out a deeper cocoa flavor, or a drip pot or pourover to highlight more caramel/citrus sweetness.
Most orders are shipped via USPS while large orders typically ship via UPS. While we can't receive returns of coffee, please contact us if you have an issue and we'll do our best to help sort it out.

When do you roast and ship?
Our current production roast days are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Any order placed during the week will be roasted and shipped on the next roast day.
What shipping methods do you use?
Single bags are shipped via USPS First Class Mail. Multi-bag or large orders typically ship via UPS.
Where do you roast?
We have been roasting in West Midtown, Atlanta for over 10 years! Our production roastery and lab is unfortunately not open to the public at this time.
How do you source coffee?
A number of different factors go into the decision to source each coffee that eventually ends up on our menu. The most important of these are ethics, quality, sustainability and freshness.
